    If you're under CEC without PNP, this could be normal. I saw someone who waited 3 months without any change and then medical passed to ppr in less than 2 months. Not to mention Torontobluejay got PPR 6 days after medical passed.

    Got the first update today, on a Saturday :o I'm sure because I checked this morning and there was no change. CEC inland AOR Jan 11 Medical Passed Feb 18 No additional document needed Feb 18 And Background changed from NN to NS

    Good news is that these days, CEC seems to be processed fairly fast once it does get started. One applicant from Dec thread already got PPR on Monday with Dec 22 AOR. That's less than 2 months. And the MED passed on Feb 7, less than a week before the PPR. :o

    From the dec group, CEC has moved to AOR Dec 29 apps today So for Jan 11, hopefully we'll see changes in approx. 2 weeks 8)

    wow, some CEC cases in November... Over 60 days till Medical Passed. Then PPR in another 6 days. :o How do they get background check done so fast? or they request passport upfront for cases that they don't think will have a problem with CSIS report?

    Yeah, I thought the question was based on his permit expiring soon. And then I realized it's still valid till 2018... Still worth a shot for changing condition tho, same idea as the BOWP, except holding a valid work permit already.

    1. Yes, the closed work permit will be invalid 2. Not sure if a visa could be conditioned, but it will still be valid since entry is up to the custom. So if they ask and your condition changes, you may not be granted entry in Canada. 3. Once approved, her permit is independent and will not be...
