    OINP Question

They will of picked you profile because you ticked the box to say you would settle in Ontario or any province. People have got a nomination without having any ties. They've just stated they wanted to live there. It helps if you've got a record of doing job searches in Ontario. Also helps if...

OOPNP / OINP proof of funds documentation

Note you need original documents. So you can't scan documents from the bank, print them and send that. You must send the originals.

    OOPNP/OINP Invite

Just to clarify, you need your name and date of birth on the back. Not the date of photo. That's according to the application guide.

OOPNP / OINP proof of funds documentation

Just for anyone else's information. I just spoke to the Ontario Immigration office on the phone and they said you don't need bank statements to be signed or stamped for proof of funds. Note this is just of the Ontario Nomination application, I don't know what the situation is for ITA.

OOPNP / OINP proof of funds documentation

There's no mention of anything being signed and stamped on either the form or the guide. Maybe OINP is different to POF for ITA. I could get the documents certified by my solicitor. Is that worth doing?

"Average balance" in bank account as Proof of funds

I wasn't aware of the average being considered. I'm a bit worried about this because my POF has enough money in the final statement but was much lower before. I sold a few things I won't be taking with me like my motorbike in order to have enough money. I imagine this is quite common...

OINP Application - UK Self Employment

Thanks for your reply. I've never had an accountant. My self employment was basically the same as being employed but the company was based in the US and had no footprint in the UK. I went to the office the company contracted for, had all my equipment provided. I did my own tax returns...

    Proof of funds questions

One further question. Should I include my latest credit card statement? Not as proof of funds, just as proof that I don't owe loads of money to the credit card company.

Proof of funds - Credit cards

I wasn't thinking of it as a way of proving funds. More so they know I don't have loads of money on a credit card

    Proof of funds questions

Hi all, a couple of questions about proof of funds: 1) Will there be a problem submitting a bank statement showing that I've just been paid? I have more than enough money, but only because I've just been paid, obviously some of this money will be spent over the month. 2) I was gifting some...
