Has anyone from CPC-Ottawa actually received PPR or any communication since getting DM in ECAS? We have been waiting for a month and there are other people who seem to have been waiting since September... concerned that Ottawa is just doing the bulk of the work to get a bunch of DMs but then not...

No. My spouse and I will be entering Canada tomorrow (hopefully) from the US to wait for PPR and then hopefully COPR. Fingers crossed it is smooth.

Yeah I am confused! According to the spreadsheet PPR was happening quickly but nothing really coming from Ottawa, like you said. We are in the US right now, my husband is a US citizen. I'm thinking about trying to go back to Canada together and just wait it out at home instead of here, since PPR...

We have a really similar timeline, almost identical from sponsor approval onward. What country are you guys applying from?

We wanted to and tentatively made plans once he got DM because what a great Christmas gift that would be hahahha! But looking unlikely now with quarantine times etc. We may try at the border. Thank you so much. I guess we just continue to wait for PPR for a bit longer

Thank you SO much for getting back to me. I spoke to a border services agent who seemed to think American citizens just got COPR paperwork mailed to them and then did a physical landing at a port of entry, even during COVID. I'm just concerned because most people get PPR fairly quickly after DM...

Ok this is so weird. We received DM and pre arrival on the 28th of October but we just got another ghost update on GCKey. No PPR yet. So confused haha

Can anyone from this thread who has a US spouse clarify the final stages of the process? Did you receive a passport request, or was your documentation for COPR just mailed to you? It's been two weeks since we receive DM and Pre-Arrival Services Letter so am a bit worried.

Can anyone from the US help me? My husband (American) received DM and pre-arrival almost 2 weeks ago and nothing since. Since it is a visa exempt country, do they just mail him the COPR document to land with, as we submitted photocopies of his passport and photos with the initial application? Or...
