    US outland applicants' thread :)

Just put the address where you are living with your husband and yes, he should say that he lives with you on the Sponsor questionnaire. Just be as thorough and up front with all of the information as you can be. :)

Question about reason for extending stay

Thanks for your reply!!! :) Ok so I guess my question is where do I find/file this "extension request"? I've looked online and there doesn't seem to be a generic form to do so...am I missing something? I feel so silly...this should be easier to find. It looks like you have to fill out a...

US citizen trying to extend past 6 months

Hello, I am a US citizen here in Canada and my 6 month "visitor" status is coming to an end. I heard that you could apply online to stay here longer which is what I am having trouble finding out how to do. Can anyone point me in the right direction? I recently got married to a Canadian...

    US outland applicants' thread :)

I have been reading this thread for the past year or so and now it's my turn to jump into the ring. :) It's really great that so many people are on here helping one another with this tedious process! I find it very overwhelming, yet comforting to know that my hand will be "vitually held"...

Question about reason for extending stay

I am currently here in Canada from the U.S. and recently got married. I am getting ready to send in my application for PR status, but my 6 months is coming to an end. Is it advised to mention that I am living with my now Canadian husband? I am afraid, like the post above, that if I don't get...
