yes, I agree with you. Always be careful of Scams... anyway, when CIC needs to contact to applicants, they will try to do again you do not need to be worry.

from today, August 2017 applicants are getting DM now. after DM on cic websites, they will get ppr e-mail soon. many July 2017 are waiting for ppr. a few CIC officers started to work lol. I hope This summer comes early

I mean, the date that your file was delivered at CIC. no AOR. my file received Jan 2018 AOR Feb 2018 MR May - Pass - July still waiting for PPR. It is just my opinion, It will be next steps on April to May 2019.... CIC works very slowly in winter season.
