i submitted requested form on Oct 6, 2014. What i would suggest is call them and ask them update. I called on Wednesday and they gave me approval on thursday :)

i guess they will update it within few days.

i got sponsorship approval through email today :) Finally after 70+ days. They have not updated online status yet.

Today for the first time i was able to log on to CIC website using my Unique Identification Number and see status update. I guess that a gud news. The bad news is it only that they received my file on Oct 6, 2014 (The day i send my updated forms). That mean all my file timelines starts from Oct...

Hahaha many people get married in Feb and March month due to good weather in India. lol thats why feb and march always has high applicants numbers.

Wow .. they send the whole package back after 4 months :( CIC handled your application really badly. i never heard this before. Why they waiting so long to process your application. This is ridiculous.

yes, i believe you are correct. They contacted me after 1 month and had temporary file number. Due to high application volume, it take them time to re-organize file.

CIC gave me temporary file number when they requested updated form. So i guess they are not starting from scratch. But i am not able to check status online with that temporary file number. When i talked to operator, initially he was not giving me any timeline,but at the end of call he asked...

Yes i got the same thing. . and i only submitted IMM 1344.

i resubmitted on Oct 8 and still havent got any update. i applied on Aug 27. We have similar timeline. We have long way to go :)
