My friend has same almost same timelines as you. His file was received on Feb 5, 2014. if my 8 months assumption is right, you and him should be getting good news in coming month.

Basically Immigration office is working on Jan and Feb Files right now :) Hopefully they will speed up now.. i would say on average, its taking 8 months for complete process.

Bad luck for you. Usually canada post deliver in 1-2 days. i actually send out my package via regular mail and in 2 days, they received it. It seems like some one messed it up during delivery. Just check with Canada Post. The status should change to "Delivered".

guys i was looking at 2014 NDVO excel sheet and noticed one person applied in Jan 2014, and landed in August 2014. Wow, compared to other applicants, that was such speedy visa. ... anyone know what was different in that person file ...

Sorry, i did not mean to offend anyone. Due to personal reasons, i had to wait 4 months before i could apply. ab apply karne ke baad , 1 more year to go.. so i know what you mean..i probably see her after 1.5 yrs. only thing i will say is that just keep ur self busy ... it will make life...

in meantime, you can finish ur ILETS and do some small programs ( Beauty Parlour or something) Why waste time waiting? increase ur skills... In North America, it is gud to these skills. You can open ur own business.
