Usually when CIC has some concerns regarding your application, or there is something they want to review again, they send the application to IRCC Etobicoke office. If you applied with a spouse or you are getting sponsored, then they might have concerns regarding the relationship between you...

Those of you, who received the PPR last week, could you guys please share how long it took your passports to be delivered back to you? I think it will be a useful info for everyone here :)

Yup. This is exactly what it says in the letter I received: "This is in reference to your application for a permanent resident visa, which has been found eligible in the class for which it was submitted. Admissibility review (security, criminality and medical) is still on going; you will be...

Well there is a timeline for overall application processing (6 months), so as long as you are within those 6 months, you shouldn't worry about it. Making an average timeline for stages would be quite complicated for them, because people are applying from all over the world, and the documents...

Yeah my medical are passed for a while now too, as well as all other stages as told by CIC agent, yet the letter says that it's still ongoing. Probably will stay like that until I actually get my PPR

I guess it all differs in terms of stages now, because in my RPRF letter it says: "This is in reference to your application for a permanent resident visa, which has been found eligible in the class for which it was submitted. Admissibility review (security, criminality and medical) is still on...

It means that you are in a final stage of the processing :)

I don't think so, because RCMP is basically a report from the Canadian police that you just have to cross check with the applicants' name and date of birth. The RCMP check, already post submission by the applicant, cannot last 3-4 weeks. Check for criminality and security, which usually happens...

Don't worry about it :) People who are "stuck" in N/A for a longer period of time, usually get the change of Background to "We are Processing" and the PPR email the same day

The only time they ask for a RCMP is when another person with criminal background has the same name as you, so they want to make sure that its actually someone else. Don't worry about it, it might delay your processing time for 1 day max (if your record is clear) :)

Your application is perfectly fine! Remember that you added a spouse, so they require the same time to do the background/eligibility check, they needed to do for you. If they requested your spouses' medical report and other docs then you might get your PPR up to 2 weeks. Just relax and enjoy...

Hey! It's in my signature :) It changed yesterday, a day after they requested the RPRF payment.

I think they set a certain date and time for PPRs send out (i.e. September, 17 12pm), but due to slow system or backlogs we might receive it at 10 pm , or maybe even the next day... I bet they are not sending out 2-3 PPRs a day ;)

Hey! :) I have sort of a similar timeline like you (No rcmp request though). Today I called CIC and the lady told me that everything already seems to be passed and now it's just a matter of time when I'll get my PPR. I believe they already have the PPR issuance date set on their computers, but...

Hey! Congrats on your PPR!! :) You have to raise a CSE (Case Specific Enquiry https://secure.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/canada-case-cas-eng.aspx ) and ask them to re-route the PPR to the local visa office in India (give the new Indian address) because you are leaving Canada...

Hi! I'm from Toronto too!! :) Most of my friends, who were inland applicants, did their landing at the Peace Bridge. The others got their COPR and went to home country, visited fam, and then came back and landed at Pearson airport (from what they told me, the "landing" process (interview)...

No, noone can estimate when you might get your PPR. It all depends on what stage your application is. They might be checking your eligibility / security / criminality / medical exams etc. You can be in IP2 for 1 day, or you can be up to 3 months. Hope you will get it soon! :)
