Congrats Denndell. I am from Montreal too, we have almost the same timeline until the transfer to local office... my application is still in Sydney and did not transfer yet to Montreal :( Did you apply with urgent processin request? Did you travel the last 4 years? And are you fully employed...

Yes, she did sign a prohibition form that she received by post mail along with her Oath invitation. In my replay I was just reffering to the intent to live in Canada form. So yes, there is only that form that you have to sign and take with you.

No, nothing such that. My wife took the Oath Aug 5th and the only things she signed were the presence form at the start, and the Oath on a paper at the end of the ceremony. I think only those who applied after june 11th who will have to fulfill this new requirement.

Usually depends on your profile, I would think they will not request something else from you as they already got the info they were looking for (what you sent them already). They might issue an RQ at the test if there are some issues with your application (but again, depends on your profile and...

Yes it should show on Ecas (although I read some post saying that it did not for them) but for most people it should show. July 22nd is not too far. Mine is in process since June 23rd and no transfer to local office yet... Was it additional documentation they asked you for ? finger prints ?

I have the same question. You see some applications getting transfered within just few days while others spend over a month there. My wife's one took 1 month before it got transfered (that was back in February). I am starting thinking there is a problem with my application...but at the same...

When you get the line transfered to local office your application will still be in process. The " in process " status contains the "we started processing.... and the "transfered to local... and the We sent you a letter... etc.

Do not worry yuvi, you have nothing to fear as a self employed, as long as you have some other docs that might proof you were in Canada for these last 4 years if CIC ask you for. Just leave your application following its normal process and you will become a citizen within 1 year :)

I do believe they are still only few who get the test invite without any transfer to local office line on ecas. My wife got her transfer to local office few months ago before she attended the test. I did call CIC 10 days ago and they confirmed that my application is still in Sydney office and...
