My husband has recd his Indian police clearance today. So now that we have both UAE and India am uploading them today itself. Medicals and schedule A has already been uploaded. Next step is an update from CIC on the visa office and AOR2 follows :)

I would say follow up. 2 months is a long wait. Mine took only 43 days.

oh yeaaaa??? that's no surprise. everything goes missing there, which is disappointing. But am glad you got through the CIC phone number, that's a tough task getting through their phone line. Medical request is usually after linking the application. They post your update there under messages...

My understanding is that you need to have him sign the IMM 5604 paper. If he doesn't sign it, then you will have to write a detailed explanation to convince them. I have been browsing lately on this and this is the info i have gathered from different resources.

I received an email. Once you get a mail that's when you link your application to your GC key or sign in partner. all correspondences following the linking process will be then updated there and no more mails. But they do send mails to let you know that you have received a new mail, pls sign...

That was a smart move. did think on those lines, but knowing CIC I thought its going to take forever so might as well wait... and to our surprise CIC was ahead of the game ...lollll ;)

PA has to link the application. I linked it to my sign in partner account (my Canadian bank account user id and password). I got the sponsor eligibility mail on the same day.

am still waiting to submit my husband's police clearance doc from UAE and India. India just requested, may take up to 5 days. UAE was simple, easy and quick, took only 2 hours, was an online application. India as always :oops:. Once that's uploaded, next step should be an update from CIC on...

Yep in total a period of 12 months, complicated cases may drag a bit. another 9 or 10 months to go.... same here... its the wait game.

the first part of the application is quick usually. now the waiting game starts. it's a long silence ....

NDVO is usually 12 months.

I was thinking on the same lines, to apply for TRV and bring my husband to be in Canada for a good 3 month period. His PR is under process. My guess is they might deny. That's wat i've seen in the other threads, but worth a try.
