Each application is routed to a different office, hence there is a difference in approval time and the kind of approval.

Yes. AIP is issued only for Fall 2020 courses. Don't know how it will work on deferral cases.

Submitted 19th June. SDS India Medical passed and Eligibility Review started 20th August. AIP 22nd August. 2 years Masters course in 2020. Previous bachelor's passed in 2010. Update in your profile email and in GC account was AIP.

What is confusing about this? Why would you take health insurance in Canada while you are in India? Don't take health insurance. If you are travelling before December 31st which is highly unlikely then take insurance.
