I guess the delay depends on the psk... For me, i booked an appointment online on a wednesday and got the pcc on that friday

The new passport will bear a new number, but the old passport number will be mentioned

Wht if there is a small spelling mistake in your name in the job reference letter? Is it a major problem? In my job reference letter, in one place they omiited a letter in my name... They spelled it correctly in another place in the same letter

Presently its taking twelve weeks for them to get the report...

From Kottayam district in Kerala... There should be one in every district, its part of the Police department... Try google it I guess the private agencies charge so much... Not many people know abt the Government agency doing the fingerprinting....

I had got my fingerprints taken at the district fingerprint bureau. The charges are very nominal... Presently for the fingerprint it is rs1000/- & rs 100 for additional copies... There are fingerprint experts over there
