Sitting at 451, have sent my husband's diploma to WES and waiting for ECA. Hope to increase the score to 461 by December draws. Do you think we have a chance of direct ITA this year or probably Jan 2017?

OINP stopped giving out PT in Feb 2016, how could you possibly receive one in June?

Guys, I'm at 451 right now, in a month-two hopefully will be at 461 (when my husband's ECA is done). In how many draws do you think the score will fall to 450 or 460? Will I have the time to do my husband's ECA until it reaches 460?

I already sent 2 EOIs in June and August, will send one more soon. I haven't received any answer yet. But I know that some people wait for longer time, like 8 months. And finally get ITA! I guess, it's difficult to tell the timeline with PEI, to my mind they are unpredictable.

Some applicants who also had 400+ CRS said that when OINP was open they didn't receive any PT. But once they re-created their profiles, they received it. I don't know why it is so, but such things happened.

I don't know whether such a group exists but would like to be added to one. I'm eagerly waiting for OINP to re-open.

It is definitely true that Canada owes us nothing and it's up to them to decide whom to invite and whom not. It's just not everything depends on your human capital (level of English, age, experience). Sometimes it's just pure luck that your profession is needed. I'm a white collar, but I'm ready...

What I meant is that some applicants with jobs like cooks and meat choppers, CRS 300, ielts 6.0 and low education are lucky enough to have their jobs in in-demand list and they have advantage over those with white collar jobs that are not in in-demand list, CRS 450-480, masters degree, ielts...

And it's definitely not first come, first served both in EE and PNP.

I'm not criticizing I'm just saying that lucky are those whose NOCs are in the in-demand lists. That's all. However, the difference in points 300-450 means lower education, lower IELTS and older age.

That's true not only for OINP but for other provinces as well. Some guys with CRS 300 and an occupation that is in-demand in some provinces may get nominated in 3 months or even less and the points rise to 900. And those at 450-480 are stuck...
