We both are in same path (ITA: 12-Oct and AOR: 28-Oct)... Just few minutes before my medical "passed" and background status changed to "Not Started"... Hope next is yours!

Hi Guys, My status got changed now (AOR : 28/10): Review of medical results Passed A background check is needed Not Started I didn't get any automatic email from cic, just logged into CIC account and got to know this.

I'm not sure but I'm still wondering how can they complete BG check within a day?... Also, as in my understanding security check is a part of BG verification and once its done CIC officer will change BG status to "Not needed at this time"... (correct me if I'm wrong ;D)

No problem and thanks for updating tracking sheet. Actually nobody can guess exact processing time of PR application. It's depends on various factors like application type (Fsw, CEC, PNP, LMIA) or inbound/outbound or candidates skills or depends on the processing officers & other pending cases...

Hey, it looks you have just passed your medicals and it doesn't mean that you're eligible to get PR. Still you have background check, bank balance and if necessary they will ask for additional documents, etc. So, nothing is "guaranteed" until the final decision. But hope for the best. Are you...
