No, they definitely evaluate in PA stage. SA doesn't really mean much since the qualifications to be a Sponsor are minimal.

I got DM status in the morning yesterday in ECAS, and the letter from CIC for SA was received in the afternoon in my email box (I'm the sponsor). I've checked ECAS again this morning, and it looks like our PA side has changed to "In Process" :) Likely, we're quicker in getting that status...

I happened to have it already since I was able to link my app on MyCIC (using PA Name / DOB) before checking ECAS, but they also didn't ask for it when I had called yes, seems like half an hour wait time is standard once you are able to get into the queue

Allo Badi, I used App number, Sponsor Last name, Sponsor DOB, and Sponsor Country of Birth. You can see both sponsorship app status AND PA status with this screen... You could also use App number, PA last name, PA DOB, and PA country of birth, but you won't be able to see sponsorship app...

Ditto, after some anxiety of others submitting on or before us, got DM for Sponsorship App in ECAS today. Haven't ever received AOR1 even if they said they had sent correspondence regarding it... hopefully will get SA email :S

Nope, but I just got a suggestion from another poster to try calling CIC for an update.... after the 15th call or so of them being unable to transfer me to an agent, I'm finally on hold ... let's see what happens half an hour later.

Wow congrats! Looks like you've gotten SA :) Super exciting since we're on a similar timeline and I also didn't get AOR.

Tell me about it... haven't received AOR1, but was able to link application to MyCIC. I'm guessing at this point, I'm not getting AOR1 at all. Probably should just expect SA hopefully by the end of next week.

Checking obsessively on ECAS & MyCIC at least twice a day.... haven't received AOR1 even though I've linked my application to MyCIC, and it's starting to look like I won't receive it. Will hope for SA by the end of next week... which would have made it a month and a week since application was...

Thanks for your input as well. Will definitely do that if it comes down to it. Did either of you guys do it through your employer instead of with MSP directly? I'm on my work's MSP plan.
