I think I'm pretty straightforward. I've never married before, no kids etc. I think it just depends on the VO and Mississauga seems to have gone into limbo when COVID hit.

12 months if you're lucky but since COVID hit there are no timeframes at all.

I did my Medical in June and the system still states I need to take them. It just all seems so random.

My GCAS notes from December said they hadn't started the Background check etc. For non Quebec you do the Medicals early in the process. There's no guarantees you'll get AOR2.

I belong to a WhatsApp group of people stuck in Mississauga for over a year. It's a few hundred. There are similarly sized Facebook groups. I sent in a webform end of last year and it took them a month to get back to me that they did receive my Medical etc from June 2020. But my GCAS still...

No we're not? The tracking sheet doesn't seem to show that, and my GCAS hasn't updated since March 2020, but I'm one of those stuck in Mississauga limbo.

Go through the entire application again, make sure there are no other mistakes because they've been known to stop as soon as they reach a mistake and Will send you the application back again for another. Make sure to use any updated forms as well.

The official reason they'll say is 'Covid delays' and 'every case is different and has to be researched'. But this is the "February 2020 Spousal sponsorship Outland" thread, you're in the wrong place. :)

Here's the thing, as soon as they find something wrong they stop checking the application. So it's best to go over the whole application and update the forms etc because it is possible there are other mistakes / missing items that they simply didn't get to. I have seen the applications...

It was an eMedical- they directly sent it to IRCC. They just mailed me a copy later. I did however send a webform to ircc a few months back and they replied that it had been received. But my account still shows it missing.

I'm American with an application stuck at CPC-M. My online account hasn't really been updated since March. I did my eMedical in June, got a copy of my results mailed to me by the doctor, but my ircc account still states that a Medical has been requested and needs to be done.

The day your whatever expired, visa, work permit, 6 month US visit etc. :)

My last update _on file_ was actually in March. I used the webform to make sure they had received my Medical and asked about Biometrics (they took about 2 weeks to answer each email). It was the webform people that reassured me they had me in Canada for Biometrics and I think they got me called...
