Yup they will definitely do it. If you do all the documentation right then there’s no way of them refusing it. Just try to attach a letter mentioning the reason. That’s all :)

Don't worry. Once you get your Work Permit your first job is to renew your passport, then apply for extension of your Work Permit in case if the duration of the work permit is less. Don't take stress. If there's any more help you need feel free to reach out :)

My passport was expiring next year in July, that is, July 2020. So more than a year before I say. As Indian passport cannot be renewed more than 1 year before it’s expiry, I had to write a letter of explanation mentioning my reasons and voila, it worked!

Yeah those processing times are actually not so accurate. For clarification on the processing times, try to visit the office once and ask them about it and they will help you with it. Although the website gives you good info but it lacks contemporary updates to the processing times. :)

Yes, you can extend your PGWP if the one you received has less duration than it’s supposed to have. What I did however, is that I renewed my passport first and then applied for PGWP because I didn’t want to waste another $255 later on and save myself some time as well.

If your college comes under DLI then you will for sure get the Work Permit. No need to worry :)

If you are in your last semester of studies, you still need to follow the 20 hour rule. The moment you apply for PGWP after your graduation, you can start working whatever hours you want to. Hope that helps :)
