yes, my friend did her medicals in august end but today she got mail stating pay PRPF and do the medicals if you have not done yet...........!!

apply for work permit and maintain leagal status in canada............!! if your file approved it does not mean you can stay without status...........!!1 as long as your not done with your pr you have to maintain leagal status or leave the country and wait for pr in your country......!!!

ask for refference letter which states that you were working there and had this job responceblities .............!!! but for cec i think your noc and worke permit which has two years full time permit and skill level o.a.b..........!!! is enough

i don't know the rule for medicals, but is it possible that cec people can get their medical request without any initial assessment...............!!!!??? i got file number, medical request and bar code stickers also.............!!! what next for me...............!!!!!!!!!????????????????????????/

if wedding so nearer then it is wise to waite and apply................!!! but you can apply now and later you can inform them about wedding........!!! if you follow the trend you might get your status before wedding.................!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! good luck

i updated my mailing address online. but its not updated yet by e cas..............!! also i sent my new work permit and employment contract today.......!! so they can send me PPR if evrything ok with me,,,,,,,,,,,,,!!
