Hi, Yes you have to apply for CSQ. It will only happen after you get the SA(Sponsor Approved) letter from CPC-M. When you apply for CSQ, you have to compulsory put the copy of letter from CPC-M.

Its a Selection Certificate for Quebec residents. If your sponsor is from Quebec, they need to obtain one more certificate from Quebec immigration after they approved as sponsor. It actually one additional step for sponsors in Quebec.
