I am in similar situation. my wife's health card is going to be expired by the end of this month. we applied last week for extension (Saskatchewan)...so far no update. we need this health card since my wife is pregnant.

Congrats. for how long it ll be valid? when did you apply for? how did u find u application has been accepted (online status)? We also applied to Saskatchewan health card a week ago and included AOR and other documents.

initially i was told by several CIC agents i should expect test invite within 9 months after file transfer to local office. if not, then CIC ll send to local office a reminder. When i asked this provision recently to a CIC agent he told me they removed this provision. i already finished...

My wife (i am sponsoring her) has just got an email showing the application is received, and we will receive further correspondence once our application is under review by an agent. Application number starts with "F". Does it mean "our application is complete"?

Called CIC today. the agent verbally confirmed the receiving of our application. I asked him whether this means the application is complete. He answered that the application was opened and given initial file number starting with F though he couldnt confirm the completeness of my application.
