yep same here, we are here in toronto from past 7 months on workpermit and on LMIA. we applied in EE FSW category last month. AoR on Dec 24th. You need to have IELTS/WES ready to apply.

CMM hyderabad will not share results with you. just upload the emedical sheet they give you in medicals placeholder. we applicants never get to know what the results are. if there are additional tests needed, then CMM/CIC will contact you.

Submitted my application yesterday. Nov 16th draw - FSW - applied from Toronto. What are the next steps? What is AoR? Once I submitted the application, I got a payment receipt that I downloaded. Should I expect anything else from CIC?

Ohh ok - thanks for the caution. In that case, would scan copies of the original deposit receipts with all the details and bank stamp on it should be the one that is the most safest. I was wanting to know if digital certificates could fly so I dont ask my folks back home to scan those for me...

The big question is people who have applied with LMIA and waiting for ITA. I am one of them and I feel so helpless now :( Hoping to have a draw on 16th....

is it mandatory to show proof of funds even when I have LMIA approved job offer and working in Canada? My lawyer is insisting that I show 16kCAD for our PR application. We have only 14k CAD ready and I am very worried on this. Any pointers?

I went through this recently and yes one needs to apply for WP separately along with positive LMIA result. Given that yours is a dual LMIA, you may also apply for PR immediately with the same LMIA number.
