There is no harm in renewing it, It will be beneficial for you, just in case they want you to send ur new passport at the tym of PPR, then you will save time then! we also did, they emailed us to give them the photocopy of new pssprt as the one they had was expired!

They're stupid! I also submitted NZ pcc initially, but again they requested the consent form for NZ pcc after re-med God knows what they're doing

It will take 30 days to come! that's y i'm thinking about this.. is this much quicker? Re-med done in dec 2015, then pcc doc submitted in Feb 2016.. Nothing after that, I dnt hv that much patience now I dnt if security chks is the last step or no??

I'm not sure then! coz when I got re-med rqst, i got attached form within the email to take with me

In the email they will send the re-assessment form for re-med You have to take that with you to doc

I've applied for my husband living in India (he was in NewZealand for 2.5 years as a student before), on January 20th 2015, & the file was sent to New Delhi in March 2015, got UCI nmbr from New Delhi on April 13th, 2015.... & status got updated from app recieved to in process on Oct 13th 2015...

Yeah, in dec 2015 After that Feb 06, they req 1) NZ pcc consent form signed & 2) his new passprt photocopy (coz the old one got expired) nothing after that....
