28 Days from the day they received my application which includes one way transit time( time Detroit sent me my passport ). Hope this helps.

If travelling to Canada for a short duration ( < 10days)...does US border people take away I-94?

Hi SBHULLAR, I was also looking for information on open work permit. As per my understanding (I am no expert on this matter ), the person for whom open work permit is being applied, needs to be in Canada.
