Hello,
Try calling 02267866002 ,talk to a customer care ,tell them your passport no. They should be able to give you the file no. You can check your visa status on the net using that file no.

Yes.....thanks for the help. I got the file number and I am now able to track the application.

Starus: in processing...........submitted on 7th may 2013. I think there was a delay in submission from my company side and I now need to wait for a longer time

Hi,

Just curious.
Because of the whole RBC fiasco, I believe Canada had suspended ALMO.
and now everybody has to go through LMO.
Is CIC processing ICT now? Do they do ALMO now?

Thanks.

Hi, ALMO and ICT are two separate processes. ALMOs were issued by HRSDC (as you noted, only LMOs are currently being issued; no more ALMOs right now). ICTs are LMO exempt and always go directly through CIC.

Thank you for your quick response.
Also, what is processing time for ICT?

Where can I find more information about ICT?
I was under the impression that you need to get ALMO to apply for ICT?
Or these two processes are not related?

Any additional information is greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

I've attached a link to CIC Operational Manual - see the bottom of page 60 through to page 71 for more information on ICTs: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/manuals/fw/fw01-eng.pdf

As I mentioned earlier, ICTs are LMO exempt, therefore they would also have been ALMO exempt.

If your employer plans to employ you in Canada under the ICT provision, you don't need an LMO.
