    work experience for PR

Thank you for the reply. In my case, I now live in a different country and closed all my bank accounts back home. Would providing my employment contract be a solution here? And is that common practice for them to ask for other means of work experience proof besides a reference letter?

    work experience for PR

So that might still be possible that they later ask for pay stubs, right? If so, would explaining that your employer does not provide pay stubs be sufficient?

    work experience for PR

I have a question about foreign work experience. Are pay stubs necessary besides a reference letter for the foreign work experience you get points for? In some countries including my home country some private companies do not even give pay stubs to their employees.

Nail the Challenge of Getting Reference Letter from Current Employer!!

The CIC website says that a reference letter must include annual salary plus benefits. My reference letter for this part reads as follows: Mr. **** worked for 45 hours a week for our company and his earnings were approximately $1200 CDN per month. Is it OK that it gives monthly salary instead...

points for foreign work experience not given

Yes NOC 4012. Since it was in Canada, 0 points for that as well but that does not come as a surprise. At first this was my primary NOC code so this might have messed up things.

points for foreign work experience not given

I have updated my EE profile by adding one year and a half of work experience as civil engineer outside Canada but I have been given zero points under CRS - Skill Transferability - Foreign Work Experience. I have CLB 9 or more on all four IELTS skills. Can anybody advise why this is happening?

I intend to apply under federal skilled worker but I have studied and worked in Canada and the states. I guess the process should be the same for me. Thank you for the info.

Discrepancy between EE profile and Quebec application

I submitted an application for a Quebec certificate of selection in June 2016 but they have recently changed their pointing system so I may no longer qualify. So I want to withdraw that application and instead apply under express entry. Now my concern is that in my Quebec application I did not...

question about work experience as graduate research assistant in Canada

I guess it's my bad lock. My GRA in Canada does not count as Canadian work experience and I have also been on a scholarship (for my PhD) in the states for two years which pays more than a GRA but it seems it does not count as work experience either.

question about work experience as graduate research assistant in Canada

I have studied and at the same time worked as a graduate research assistant (GRA) in Canada for two years. This is the only work experience I have claimed in my EE profile. Based on this I have met the federal skilled worker criteria. However, I have been given zero points for Canadian work...
