quick question all... how long is the visa valid for? my friend got his passport yesterday and the visa is valid only for 30 days... is that normal ?

i would say 5 DM's, my friend applied on may 9th and IP on nov 8th and DM yesterday !

at this stage they usually ask for documentation related to sponsor and its good that they just for it rather than sending back. So tell your sponsor to send the documents asap :) Also I never included my rental agreement or pay stubs with my docs. Just the letter from employer.

so your ecas have medical received as well ? thats good.. mine doesn't have that udpated

My guess is for new delhi applicants it will take sometime to get updated. My friends who applied in June and July still haven't got medical updated in ecas. So I think its ok for now ! but applicants for other visa offices got theirs updated !

since they have huge backlogs they will just send out the visa without ecas update or without interview :D

I used blue dart last week to send the passport. Also get the tracking #

*It says if not already paid or if not already submitted* so you don't have to send them. Just submit your passport with the letter.
