this 4-8 weeks time is 'after the docs have been reached there' or 'after they say they have received the docs'? Because in my case the docs reached there on 24th june and AOR came only on 12july.

You should get married befor you land because adding your spouse after landing is a long process whereas adding your spouse before landing takes just a couple of months. Please go through this post grom page one. U will get your answers

You can send your passport for visa stamping as single. Doesnt matter even if you have informed about your engagement, they will process your application as single until u get married

There is no fast way to reach to CIC. All we can do is inform them and wait. They will not respond before their time no matter how much we follow up

I think you should right away return your passport along with the docs asked through the same means you had sent your passport earlier. Even i sent the hardcopy of additional docs to my vo office, delhi immigration

No need because cic doesnt care unless you marry

Your score wont be calculated if you marry after eAPR. You jst need to inform cic asap and then they will ask for somedocs to add ur spouse in.

Its better to be on the safe side. You should send the 180 days statement if you have it ready and is not a problem

I was in the similar situation. Even i got a mail from Delhi immigration at first. And some days later may be 2 or 3, i got another mail from cic that i got a message in ny cic account. The message was about how to add your spouse in the application.
