what do you mean add your spouse?? do you want to claim your spouse as a dependant on your tax return or do you just want to inform the govt that you now are married and have a spouse? In any case you can indicate on your 2012 tax return that you're married.

I got my last update from MP in October saying background checks are in process. My husband's medical was in June. I think once background checks are complete file is forwarded to DMO and then PPR is sent. But it seems like there is quite a long que for the DMO review.

canadian immigration I was lookign at your timeline and you filed your case in Oct. and you got PPR this Dec, was your case filed through a lawyer or were there any special circumstances?? MashAllah you got PPR very quick.. I applied in Mar 2011 meds in June and my hubby is still waiting for PPR

Are you in contact with your local MP?? If not that's the option I would recommend more rather than this case specific inquiry because I don't think they get back to you anytime soon. Ask your MP to look into your case and tell him/her that it's goign to be the 26 month mark in feb. since...

CB - from what I know they count the 26 month mark once they receive a full package at Islamabad of if you file went there in Dec 2010 - you're 26 month mark would be Feb 2013

That's the same with my hubby's case - I ordered notes in Oct. and saw a note for mid september to send PHEP, however it still has not been sent 4 months later.. it makes me think whether it's not the visa officers to blame it's the admin who is lazy and not doing what they are being told..

mwali, does your e-cas indicate that medical results have been receieved? Also I read your previous posts that in your GCMS notes it said security checks are cancelled - did you get any info on that?? I havent ordered notes since October and at time the security check was blank and then it had...
