You can apply while staying in USA TOO. applying for trv has no affect on ur pr file. Just mention in ur trv application you have prepared file going on...and make sure you show strong ties to go back in ur trv. I have my husband trv in process and pray as well.

You can apply, there is no guarantee. I have applied for visitors visa for my husband. We are expecting a baby in month of August... I applied this Monday. Try showing strong ties back home n valid reason for spouses visit.
