I need visa and it is the seventh week of waiting passport request. And that's not only me, but the rest of us who got decision made since the end of July.

Hi Rb2013, I would recommend to contact CIC call center right now and explain the situation and ask for advice. So when you receive the PPR you will know the options based on the date.

Yes. The agent said the he does not know of any delays and suggested to contact CIO. The question is where is the application now? It takes Sydney 1 month to reply. And Ottawa has never replied to me before.

Well, it takes more time to contact regarding the decision made (hopefully passport request) than total time which took from when they requested a PCC, applied for PCC, received it, sent to CIO Sydney, put the application in process and make a decision on it.

I think one option is to postpone landing (if you get passport stamped by then) until your trip, and do the landing procedure when coming back to Canada from the trip. If the trip is short, of course.

I have a feeling there will be no Passport requests emails in the next couple of weeks :'(
