    Citizenship for child

I believe the child is born in India so can claim Indian citizenship by birth. The Canadian parents can also apply Canadian citizenship for their kid(s). It will be a matter of choice really. However, the child can not have both Indian and Canadian citizenship.

    November 2013 Citizenship Application

I dont think its only those documents that improved the process for him. Due to these papers he might not have received RQ and that helps but surely there must be other reasons for this unbelievably fast process. He and torontowarrior might just have got lucky :P

Bill C-24 Second Reading on February 27th:

After 2nd reading (Debate) comes the 3rd reading where debate continues and then a vote. If the bill will get more than 50% votes in favour, it is considered passed and will be forwarded to the senate where 3 readings and voting will take place. After a bill is passed by both the houses of...

Bill C-24 Second Reading on February 27th:

I do not think there will be a third reading on the same day. This type of bill will have to be discussed thoroughly before it goes for voting (3rd reading). Sometimes the debate continues for months. So dont worry about it yet.

    Citizenship application Question

A common reason for getting Resident Questionnaire is when the applicant has traveled outside Canada after he/she became a permanent resident and before applying for citizenship. You should not be worried about this if you did not travel in the period i mentioned. In case you have traveled, just...

    Some advice please.

I agree with what ramsfe said. I was deported from England in 2006 even when I had a valid visa to enter the country. However, this is something which is not considered a criminal offense. They did not take my fingerprints etc. I applied for my Canadian Immigration in 2009 and was granted PR...
