we provided an email address and the agent told us on the phone AIP letter was emailed but we got it via snail mail. Obviously you can't rely on the agent over the phone for any reliable info!

I don't trust anything the CIC agents say over the phone. When we got AiP they said the letter had been sent via email but we got it via snail mail.

How long does it take to receive the GCSM notes after you requested them? I just ordered mine as well? ARe they taking 30 days?

Seems a lot of people getting DM"s lately which is good news. Hope ours arrives soon...this has been too long now. Originally sent the application at the beginning of January 2012 so over a year ago now... Wife has been in Canada a year before that so has not got to see family for over 2 years...

We moved to another city and both changed jobs about a month after applying. Yes sucks we had to wait a bit longer but when we applied in January we expected 11 months for AIP anyway so we are just few weeks off what we expected.

They will start processing your application after you sent the info back to them. I think we are in the same boat. WE had a complete application but I didn't have a job when we sent it and we sent client history update in May now it has delayed receipt of application on eCas by 6 months...

We sent our application and it was confirmed received by Vegreville on January 9th but on my wife's Ecas it says Application Received May 31. We moved about 3 weeks after our application was sent and both of us got new jobs, then CIC sent us the client history update to fill out in May and it...

I don't understand...can someone explain how come on my wife's eCas (which we can finally view) it says Application for permament residence received May 31, 2012. The application was sent in January with XpressPost and we got confirmation of delivery.... I"m wondering why it shows it was...

Aren't you able to log in to eCas until you have AIP? I tried with my wife's info and still can't log into ecas

Great news , so 2012 applicants are finally getting aip. Our application was received Jan 9th. We changed address and updated client history at the end of May. We sent medicals with our application but no police certificate but it is ready to go and translated already when the CIC request it...
