Great to see six people got DM this week: I have a feeling next two weeks we will see a bunch more of DM's!

Finally we are seeing some movement again....good news to hear about 2 DM's in the last week. Hopefully we see a flurry of a lot more in the coming weeks ahead!

We sent application for OWP with PR Application, so when we first got AIP we received OWP as well. But passport had to be renewed so we had to reapply at the end of March. Now we have OWP valid for two more years.

At least we received OWP today. We had received it back when we got AIP in November but expired with passport in January 2013. So had to get new passport and reapply for work permit Sent application for OWP again at the end of March and OWP received today so about 10 weeks.

at least some of the 2011 Inlander's have been receiving DM's in the past few days. Hopefully we will see some activity here soon

how is the Office for the landing interview determined? IN our GCMS ntoes it says city of Destination: Calgary but we are now about 1,800km away from Calgary.. and lived here for the past 18 months. The address on file with CIC is still that of our representative, who is in Calgary.

we are almost at 18 months now and there are people from 2010 still waiting so 5 months is just the beginning...

my wife is from a visa non-exempt country so we had to apply inland or wait over a year until the process was complete. After you are married and live together the thought of living apart for 1year or more is not so attractive so inland application is the better choice

I got the GCMS notes via email. Our application was received January 4th at Vegreville but in GCSM and on eCas it shows received at May 31. When we applied both of us were unemployed and we subsequently moved cities and started new jobs. CIC requested a client history update and that is what was...

in the GCMS notes where it records the location of the paper file for you application it says Location: "TRAINING ROOM A" Does this mean our application was used for training!!!!????

Received the GCSM notes today. Nothing of interest to note in there except Security and Criminality ''In Progress" and medicals "Passed" doesn't say anything else.

so if we don't get the GCSM Notes in the next few hours I guess I have to complain to the Information Commissioner?

My Wife called the Call Centre this morning. Same old response. 8 months hasn't past since AIP so don't call until beginning of August!

I requested GCSM Notes on April 15th. Still haven't received anything.

Glad to hear you got a friendly CIC agent that was helpful. Whenever I have called they tell me NOTHING useful!

I was told PR Card is the only acceptable form of ID for travelling purposes.
