    We sent application for OWP with PR Application, so when we first got AIP we received OWP as well. But passport had to be renewed so we had to reapply at the end of March. Now we have OWP valid for two more years.

    At least we received OWP today. We had received it back when we got AIP in November but expired with passport in January 2013. So had to get new passport and reapply for work permit Sent application for OWP again at the end of March and OWP received today so about 10 weeks.

    how is the Office for the landing interview determined? IN our GCMS ntoes it says city of Destination: Calgary but we are now about 1,800km away from Calgary.. and lived here for the past 18 months. The address on file with CIC is still that of our representative, who is in Calgary.

    my wife is from a visa non-exempt country so we had to apply inland or wait over a year until the process was complete. After you are married and live together the thought of living apart for 1year or more is not so attractive so inland application is the better choice

    in the GCMS notes where it records the location of the paper file for you application it says Location: "TRAINING ROOM A" Does this mean our application was used for training!!!!????

    I was told PR Card is the only acceptable form of ID for travelling purposes.
