I never heard that about TRV. If you have Work permit, like BOWP, you can stay and work in Canada. You don't have to apply for TRV too. TRV is only if you want to stay in Canada more than the time you can with your passport.

I applied for BOWP on March 10th and haven't got an answer yet. How did the inform you it was approved? by email? postal mail? Why did you apply for TRV if you they approved you BOWP?

This week will be three months since we uploaded all the documents and paid the fees. We haven't got any changes yet, what's going on? this is getting frustrated.. should I call CIC to see if there is something wrong? or they will just tell me to go online..

I got an email yesterday from the AINP officer who processed myapplication saying that I will be getting a package in my mail soon.

I got the same email. They asked me for additional information, like my wife's form and employment letter saying that my company still support me. The received my application on DEcember 17 2013. I already sent everything they asked me for, does someone know if I'm close to get the nomination?

they invited me thru FSW. But I dont think EE category is linked with BOWP because they dont ask you about it at any moment.

what is the processing time for a BOWP? Can I apply for BOWP and if it gets rejected, can I apply for extension of my work permit in a paper application to have that "implied status" time?

In my opinion you guys have got AOR from CIC, but not from CIO as it's required to apply for BOWP. Can someone confirm this? if you guys are right.. can do a step by a step on how to apply for a BOWP?
