I was told the same thing by everyone, that processing time is about 12 months maximum. My case is past the 12 months time now. It’s all about patience and staying strong. With every new week and every new month comes a new hope.

Did they start your background check yet ? You should contact your visa office and inquire about this.

Congratulations! Tell your agent to send you the original passport request email with all the information. It’s very important that you read it and follow the correct instructions on where to send your passport and other documents if needed .

Do you have any red flags in your case ? And have you received your pre arrival email .

Yes i got pre arrival services email in january 2018. I had a full proper wedding done with rukhsati. Have you travelled a lot before or has your spouse travelled a lot ? maybe that’s why background check is taking long .

Have you contacted the london visa office ? Why is your application taking so long. You applied in march 2017 ? That’s waaaay past the 1 year time frame .

Background check is currently in process and no red flags at all.

I’m stuck in the same situation. I’m a june 2017 applicant and my eligibility got approved but its been stuck in the background check for a while now. My lawyer emailed LVO yesterday, no reply so far .

You should contact LVO and find out what’s taking them so long. Ask them if they need any further documents from you as well.
