    QUEBEC APPLICANTS LETS SHARE EXPERIENCE

After I reply, it didnt take too long for me to receive the CSQ actually. 3 weeks or a month if I remember well (I thought it would at least take 3 months). However, dont forget that it's on a case by case basis, so do not freak out if they take longer. The thing that I noticed in several forums...

    QUEBEC APPLICANTS LETS SHARE EXPERIENCE

It is quite stressful to receive this type of message, I have been there. I actually had to retrieve documents from three different countries, so I was ready to give up on this and try another route. However, I sent them what I could, and I added a letter explaining why I could not provide two...

    FBI PCC

Even though your number has changed, the card may still be valid. I think it depends on the expiration date. Call your credit card company to check on that. I had a similar issue. I received a new card (same number though), but with a new expiration date. I learned that the old card would still...

Apply to PR under QSW program

My understanding is that you should be fine doing both PGWPP and PR with CSQ. PGWPP takes care of allowing you to find work while your PR is being processed. They are two very separate things. Is there any reason you believe that there will be issues?

    QUEBEC APPLICANTS LETS SHARE EXPERIENCE

Dear all, I am glad to see that a lot of information is still being shared in this forum. I have not been online for a very long time. Nothing had really happened since I received the AOR. While waiting for Quebec to make a decision, I decided to pursue a translation degree in a two-year...

    QUEBEC APPLICANTS LETS SHARE EXPERIENCE

Hello, I have a question about your interview waiver. Did you submit any french test score in your application? I came to believe that someone that has 63 points or more has a greater chance for interview waiver if he or she shows at least some knowledge of French. Not sure though.

I believe that assumption too. Update should be done once reference/dossier number is provided. Once again to avoid any mistake or lost of document possible. But the best thing is to try to send the best package you can send the first time. I went through the same thing, but decided to wait til...

What this statement means is that if someone can't prove his or her knowledge for a language through the specified test, the person has to check the box saying so, therefore they wont be able to claim points when sending the application. However, there is a form that you can use and send...

You should ask him where he heard that from cause knowledge of French sure is recommended (for extra points and for chances to get interview waiver), but not mandatory. Approval for CSQ is point based, so someone can choose not to claim any point in languages (french/english) and still be eligible.

Ok, now I understand, I thought you were giving up on the CSQ because you said 'you changed your mind'. It's not a bad idea, and I dont think it's affect the process negatively because they 2 different process, but you may be forced to give up on the CSQ if you are planning on settling in Toronto. Keep in mind that the plan is a bit risky and can be quite long too. You still need to be accepted...
