Yeah, we found out our AOR date and our file number when we called. :)

The only thing we heard from CIC after AOR was about the transfer to Mississauga, and heck even then we had to call for AOR, we never even received a letter or email.

Us too...though I feel worse for those that are here that applied in July and still haven't heard anything. :( I'm hoping when it finally does start moving it does so in a big way.

From what our lawyer has told us (we are Quebec applicants) is that we have to wait for the 1st and 2nd stages to be done for PR, THEN it's sent to Quebec for processing. Only after Quebec is finished processing, we will get notification that our CSQ is complete and that we can apply for a RAMQ...

Definitely makes sense, especially after they said they cleared 8% of the backlog for citizenship since February...and February is when things pretty much started going slow as molasses. Even then, I really wish that trying to catch up on other areas wouldn't have to slow our applications so...
