I often wonder this same thing. The whole reason most of us chose to file inland was to be able to work. Now that stage one is taking sooo long, and AIP is given very close to landing dates (at least it used to be close, I know now people are having to wait longer for DMs), we shouldn't have...

That is super confusing...I don't blame you for being confused! Sounds like stage 1 has been approved but they're waiting to give you AIP and DM at the same time. Which is also funny, because they're saying it's not marked as AIP, but that you can apply for a work permit, and you can't apply...

Yeah, I checked ours online and nothing is showing on there either. I'm just hoping it isn't going to be like when it was stuck on July 30th and even those who applied July 30th didn't hear anything for a month or more.

Yeah, apparently that's what the automated message on the CIC line is saying now...I'm just hoping that means we'll hear news soon! :)

I totally agree, I would be willing to wait another year for DM if I could just get AIP and OWP! Just to be able to work would make things so much less stressful. I really hope we see more AIPs this week! :)

From what I've seen with others experiences, you'll probably get yours tomorrow as the sponsor always gets approved just before the applicant received notification. :)

I have a good feeling, and against better judgement I'm letting myself get my hopes up...this is the month where we'll finally see tons of progress again! :D

I'm happy to report that someone on the Facebook page received AIP today, a July 31st applicant! That makes me so happy just to see it moving past July 30th, I admit I cried a little! And it's not even me that got it! Good news is so great! :)
