Yes you should mention your mother's income if any. If she is housewife then i suggest you to file ITR by showing boutique or tuition. You can file ITR of near about 2.50 lakh by this way. This will sum up your household income to around 5.5 lakh which is sufficient. My friend did this way and...

EDIT: Your chances are very good. your chances are sure shot.. :D Universities prefers students with work experience in a good company. Do not hesitate to apply to these university. I also suggest you to try for McGill university montreal, it top ranked and affordable university.

if it is just a diploma then swagger is right, your chances are very low. i suggest you to go for pg diploma or masters. Masters in some universities is very affordable.. do some research. You can also take loan for your studies.

My 3 friends are now in Canada for pg diploma after b.tech.. No experience. They got visa in first attempt. One of the friend chose one year pg diploma.
