Usually WP applicants receive medical requests for stay more than 6 months and approval email (if you have included your email as communication method in your application.) The passports reach the very next day in most cases. So you ll find out by today.

Hi, As per the list, New Delhi has started processing April cases only recently. So I think ur wait is not yet over... Dont worry we ll all hear positive news soon...

The processing time for WP is updated to 3 months in cic website :( :(.. have to wait a month to send in casespecific enquiry... ??? :(

As avm said, you need not worry if it was a TRV alone for your son. Only study permit and work permit applications receive email approval.
