Nope, they asked me to call on Monday to ask. But I will request them tomorrow for an update. The PR itself took 10 months. Its more painful to wait for the passport for a month

There is also a mid-wife option which is significantly less expensive. I know of a friend who was in the same predicament.

Hey all inland applicants who sent their passports to Ottawa. If it has been more than 2 weeks since Ottawa received your passport, you can call the helpline and the agent will send a message to the officer to review and expedite the return of your passport. I just talked to an IRCC agent.

I tried to, they said there is no such thing as a cancellation. I've sent an email to both the Etobicoke office and Ottawa office. If they dont reply, I'll just show up to the interview with all documents except my passport and explain my situation. I guess that's all I can do if I dont get my...

Surprisingly got it. IRCC helpline says that its a glitch and that I can ignore it. But I dont think I trust them with this. I wont have my passport by the time the interview happens.
