    US outland applicants' thread :)

The application linking process through GCKey is not very user friendly. I had to use the tips from this forum to get mine to work.

    US outland applicants' thread :)

Did you try checking the status through their online tool rather than GCKey? I found out through the online tool that my application is now being processed in Ottawa yesterday, but when I log in through GCKey I do not show this same level of information. Everything in GCKey appears to be the...

Yesterday (10-May-2017) the Ottawa visa office began processing my file. My file was received in Mississauga on 14-Mar-2017, so it has taken less than two months for my file to make it to Ottawa for the processing to begin.

Did the message you received state that your file was being transferred to the Mexico visa office, or did it state that the Mexico visa office actually received your file? Thanks.

Cannot Link Application to Online Account

Try these steps, which seem to work for a lot of people on here: Permanent Residence > Family Class (either common-law partner or spouse) Family name, given name, date of birth City of birth - only entered one space here Country of birth - PA's country of birth Passport info - Didn't include...

I had issues as well in the beginning. Look at pages 11 and 12 of this thread for instructions that have worked for many people, including me.

My police certificate was not hand signed by me. I submitted what the FBI sent to me and did not sign it.

I can only share the information I received in the correspondence directly from CIC this morning, which stated that a handwritten signature is required on the Schedule A if you are submitting via the IRCC Webform. If you are uploading through a request directly in your account, then a...

If you use the IRCC Webform, then you are required to use a handwritten signature. The exact wording I received from CIC is: "Print out the form and sign in writing (provide your handwritten signature) next to your name in the signature box. If you do not sign and date the form according to...

I just received a message in my account to submit the Schedule A. Please note that this is the first actual correspondence I have received to submit the Schedule A. In the message, it clearly states that if I choose to print and mail the Schedule A or to to upload via IRCC Web Form, a...

Thanks for your reply. It seems that the response anyone gets is based on the mood of the agent at the IRCC Call Centre. The lady we spoke to today was not helpful. She was very short with us and did not want to assist, despite us being as friendly and cooperative as possible. She never offered...

We were one of the unfortunate applicants who never received a request to upload the Schedule A through myCIC. So we contacted IRCC on 5-April and were directed to upload the Schedule A through the web form. Today we received the following reply: We uploaded the Schedule A twice before...

I cannot figure out the pattern either. Did you receive an email from IRCC requesting the Schedule A? Or did you contact the IRCC Call Centre and then upload the Schedule A via the IRCC web form?

I hope so too. It seems their process is broken right now and needs to be fixed for those of us who are nervously awaiting any communication from them.

Maybe you could try using the IRCC web form to get the conversation rolling with immigration. It seems to be used for lots of different inquiries. If you search for "IRCC web form" on the Government of Canada web site, you will find the link to the form.

You will need to contact the IRCC Call Centre by phone at 1-888-242-2100 (only from within Canada). Let the agent know that you did not receive the Schedule A request, and he/she will look at your file to see if the email was actually sent. If it was but you did not receive the email, then he...
