    Im not sure sure if you can apply as a PR from tourist visa, i think the only way to get PR is from temporary resident.. You can get married there in canada, and then apply to sponsor him as spouse instead..

    Expect the unexpected! I was honestly going nuts a couple weeks before getting ppr when i wasnt expecting anything anymore, thats when my hubby got his! Also, i believe this forum can make you go impatient a bit too haha. Seeing as a lot of other people get ppr.

    normal processing time is one year from application. but so far i've noticed its been 6 months or less. I suggest contacting your MP as well as ordering access to information notes to find out whats been going on with your application.
