Are you sure? because we have marriage certificate from India and we did enquiry in canada and they said they can register our marriage but we need to surrender our Indian marriage certificate.

Did anyone register their marriage after getting married in India? would it be wise to register both in India and Canada and obtain marriage certificate from both countries ?
