It's been about two months recently. This isn't anything well predictable, but even if you're asked to send your passport to CPC-O when you're in China, you could either request an extension or if you're staying in China long enough, you could ask them to arrange for your visa to be issued in...

If you're travelling to the States, you could return on a non-commercial carrier (e.g. your car or on foot; but not on a plane or bus) with your passport + CoPR. If you're travelling elsewhere, or if you want to fly back, then you'll have to apply for a Travel Document (fee: $50) at the...

Actually there are medical exam requirements for study permit applicants who are from or have lived in certain countries (e.g. South Korea, Greenland, Hong Kong, etc.) for a duration of 6 months or more. 2. OK, here is a general, but not always accurate, timeline for the steps involved if you're really into the details: FSW-REG is a general pool. When your file's turn comes, someone picks it up and does the automatic RCMP check (this is different from RCMP report which they ask some people to do)...

background verifications are conducted by other agencies of the government: RCMP, CSIS, and CBSA. These agencies' timelines are not regulated by CIC and CIC doesn't have control over the speed of their processings. Also note that if the screening of your file is taking longer than usual, it's...

-I believe that I do understand what "misrepresentation" means; therefore, I maintain my position on this, as stated in my previous comment. -I appreciate your respect for someone who's been helpful to you and some others.

I would not advise people to pretend something. Misrepresentation is not the right thing to do.

Note that the Call Centre agents have access to your electronic notes (GCMS), but they decide what information they communicate to you and how they phrase it. I imagine you could ask more specific questions, e.g. "has the eligibility review at CPC started for my case?" etc.

Your fingerprints are digitally obtained through a third party and sent to RCMP. I think you should note that "fingerprints" are not generally considered "documents"; so your question is inherently vague. You should further note that applicants don't send their fingerprints to CPC.

don't freak out! If you haven't done any sort of fraud, there's nothing to be afraid of. I guess the only thing is that it may prolong your application's processing time.
