Wow congratulations!! And all the best!! Thanks for sharing your information with us. My V.O is also Trinidad. Still waiting for my aor, file was received July 17th. What I realize that people who applied earlier in the year received their aor much faster than others who applied later in the year

If u have mentioned to immigration that your family will not be accompanying you to Canada then all is well and u can proceed with their sponsorship. If you failed to declare such information to them then it's deemed misrepresentation on your end. Always tell Imigration the truth

Are you saying u are moving to Canada but your wife and child will not be accompanying you to Canada and how long do you have to wait when u land in Canada to sponsor them? I was having a hard time trying to understand what you were saying so please correct me if I am wrong

Usually it take up to a month or a month and a half before u can finally get the aor, usually the sponsor receives the email 1st but keep checking both of your emails including your junk mail. U still have a few weeks of waiting to do or at least by next week u should receive some news seeing...
