    Any Aug applicant with DD encashed information - Did you check your ECAS status after you have learnt that the DD has been encashed? (you can check only if you have your UCI of course)

    I had sent an email inquiry on 26th sept with reference to my application which was received on 19th Aug. I had sent additional documentation of my wife's BC to be added to the application. Here is the response: I can find no record of our office having received the birth certificate via mail...

    If your DD issued from HDFC does not have a validity period, it is valid for six months. Please note that all DDs issued in international currency have a validity of 6 months!

    I am surprised to see the pattern of CIO charging. They missed out the week of 14th Aug to 20th Aug for NOC 2171 or 2173! or did I miss any charge for any of the dates between 14th and 20th (inclusive)? Thanks, ItCanHappen
