I would suggest to not apply for your VISA now. You should have kept in mind about the GIC things. I got my certificate in 13 days. Since Aug 1st is the deadline no applications would be taken by the officers. Anyways it is upto you.

As per my knowledge whoever has changed their courses most of them were rejected their VISA's.

First week july applicants will get their Visa by the next weekend.

If Mr. Dipen you can show the mail here, we can help.Mention the name of the college. In this case, if you leave around Jan, you program completion date would differ and the Student Visa is only valid till the completion date I suppose.
