Intake change after visa approval

Guys I need your help. I am really staked up. I am an Indian national and applied for student visa on 27th June-2016 to study Project Management Diploma at University of Winnipeg. I got study visa approved on 28th July-2016. I got an email from University stating that their seats for September-16 intakes are full. I also inquired to other colleges today for transferring the admission however, they also replied that their courses are full for September intake. My agent asked me that you can differ your admission to January intake and then go to Canada in January.. What can I do guys. Would you please share your valuable words and direct me a path.....Thanks in advance...

How can university mail you that their seats are full??
If they offered you admission earlier.

not sure why you would think CIC would be able do anything with University saying course is full . You may find that you had a conditional acceptance, the condition being having a study permit in place by a certain date in this case before Jul 28 th. I assume the university will refund any payments you have made in advance

The conditional date in the letter was mentioned was 1st August. That means that I must submit study permit approval letter on or before that. I did duly before that but still I am going through these circumstances.

In this case, if you leave around Jan, you program completion date would differ and the Student Visa is only valid till the completion date I suppose.

This guy is telling the truth. Has happened to me too. Same course same uni. Difference is I haven't scored a visa yet. Dipen call me if you want to discuss this +919810016267

It's not a college it's a university. And it is doing as he is said. Also, there can't be conditions for you to help us. You either help or you don't. That's precisely it.

It happens only to those who apply with conditional offer letter. Condition of paying the fee for confirming your seat. But what student do they apply with that conditional offer letter without worrying about the seat confirmation.

I think he can apply for extension of study permit near the visa ending time stating the reason of extension

Guys this is the email that I got from the University of Winnipeg

We would like to inform you that the seats for your Region have been filled and there are no remaining seats in the September full-time Project Management Diploma. The next intake for the full-time Project Management Diploma program starts January 18, 2017. If you wish to defer to this intake please contact applytopace@uwinnipeg.ca by August 1, 2016 and your paid installments will be applied to the next program intake. If we do not receive a request for deferral by August 1 we will refund your money.

In such circumstances, I have a question that If I travel to Canada in January with the visa stamped since July 28th, would the border control create any issue?
