Yes i i dont think lawyers prioritize because they have many cases, for us, our case is important to us but i doubt the lawyers feel the same way. it does add to an already lenghthy process but its the price u pay (apart from hefty lawyer fees) to ensure u've done ur best... !!

i have a silly lawyer, after waiting for something in the post for days i got an email with the scanned copy of the letter which was addressed to the lawyer in Toronto! so am guessing any other communication will also be delayed just the same!

i was actually talking about lawyers too... if ur the sponsor and the representative there is a place where u sign off for correspondence to be received on behalf of the client of the lawyer, i.e on behalf of you. as long as u have ur partner's address listed for correspondence hopefully it will...
